And that is correct, God became a man, Jesus Christ and was here on earth “with us” for 33 years. ![]() Many people read that with the understanding that God was “with us” at Christ’s birth, God becoming a man, Jesus Christ. In Matthew Chapter 1, verses 22 to 23 we read “So all this was done that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the Lord through the prophet, saying: 23 “Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel,” which is translated, “God with us.”
